Many people will recognize the duo of renowned pianist marvin Goldstein and vocalist Vanessa Joy from their popular concert at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center in July. After their successful summer concert, Goldstein promised the audience he would soon return to the Blackfoot stage – he wasted no time in making good on that promise. The duo returns to BPAC Nov. 30 at 7:30 pm for thier show, “A Classy and Classic Christmas”, consisting of new traditional Christmas music. While it hasn’t been long since Goldstein and Joy were in Blackfoot they have been busy. Since las in Blackfoot they have had adventures all around the world. Goldstein said they performed “at the behest of the U.S> Embassy in Cairo, Egypt celebrating The Daniel Pearl World Music Days.” Then made their way to Tiberius, Israel then on to The Assembly Hall at Temple Square in Salt Lake  CIty, plus swimming in the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee, the Mediterranean Sea and even crossing the Red Sea. “We are so fortunate to have Marvin and Vanessa back on our stage so soon,” said Susan Mann, BPAC, Programming director. “They are great performers and relate to all ages. Tickets to this concert would make a great Christmas gift.” Peace with Music hosts their travels as they bridge cultural, religious and political differences with the performance of great music. The duo performs all genres and their banter ranges from hilarious to touching. Marvin improvises like no one you have ever heard while Vanessa’s angelic voice steals your heart away.
